2016-06-04 – Olympic Stadium, London, England

STED: Olympic Stadium, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London, England (Kapacitet: 80,000) (Link) (Lokal Tid)

INFO: Gæstespillere: Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown. Dørene åbner kl. 17 (kl. 18. dk tid). TBSHAKEDOWN kl. 19:25. AC/DC kl. 20:25. Showet starter til tiden og slutter ca. 2 timer efter. Fans siger, at dette er det hidtil bedste AC/DC show Axl har sunget – trods den dårlige akustik i arenaen. Før “Hells Bells” spøgte Axl: “They told me it’s cold. It’s not fucking cold, it’s actually kind of nice. It’s a nice place to be.” Axl spøgte videre før “Rock N’ Roll Train: “You having a good time? You on the party train? Don’t get hit by the party train. I’ve been hit by the party train and it’s fucked up.” Efter “You Shook Me All Night Long” sagde han om bandet: “Now you know what Buckingham Palace guards do in their free time.” Før “Whole Lotta Rosie”: “This next song is the first AC/DC song I ever heard. Guns N’ Roses did this song when we first came to London at the Marquee Club. It was always the top song in Rolling Stone so we had to play it.”

Attended the gig tonight at Olympic stadium and I can honestly say it was amazing. Axl’s voice is pitch perfect and suits the tracks perfectly. To all those who constantly slag him off and tell the band to split – well in your face cos AC/DC ROCK!!! So stop your whining and get over your miserable selves – move on. – Ruth Howarth
